"Mighty Men of Valour"

A Christian ministry for: " Men reaching men for Christ"

The vision of "Men reaching men for Christ" was given to us in August 2002

Mighty Men of Valour first conference was last year 26th October 2002 at the

Fairfield Halls in Croydon.

The conference title was: "One thing that I have desired" based on Psalms 27:4.

The conference was excellent and we were led to develop the website: www.valour.plus.com

A Christian web site to encourage men’s’ ministry to work together, as the aim is "Men reaching men for Christ"

The question which we are asked frequently by non-Christians and Christians is "what denomination are we?"

We ask them a question in return.

"What denomination did Jesus, Noah, Abraham, Isaac or Jacob belongs to?"
We state that we belonged to the body of Christ.

We focus on scriptures such as:

Ephesians 4:3-6
"Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
There is one body and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."

1 Timothy 2: 3-6
" For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."

Psalms 133:1-3
"Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; as the dew of Herman and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion:
for there the Lord commanded the blessing,
even life forevermore."

and

Psalms 127:1
"Except the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh in vain."

Oxford English dictionary the meaning of valour: = “great courage, especially in war”

Noah, Moses, Joshua, Gideon, David, Paul and Jesus are Mighty Men of Valour.

Below is the scripture, where the name of this ministry derived from:

Have a look! And may God, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, continue to bless and keep you now and forevermore.

Judges 6:12
"And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou
Mighty Man of Valour".

Also every 3rd Thursday of each month at the Fairfields Hotel in Croydon,
we will be holding, men body building discussions, to strengthen men in the body of Christ.
